Global Scientific Fields in Genetics & Molecular Biology

Genetics deals with the gross structure, organization, replication, recombination, functional regulation and transmission of heritable information in the biological organisms and also includes studies on the environmental factors affecting the genetic composition and evolution of biological organisms. Studies in genetics range from basic molecular genetics to large scale genomics at organism level. Molecular biology focuses on immunology, microbiology, genetics and cellular and sub-cellular biology. Studies on deciphering the structure and function of genetic materials, proteins and other metabolically active biochemical entities forms the fundamentals of genetic & molecular biology which find immense relevance in effective and accurate treatment of disease, increased crop production to meet the demands. Genetic engineering is the latest evolutionary product of the field which focuses on construction of genetically modified organisms.

Nitrogen Fertilization Peer Review Journals

Nitrogen fertilization is the process that is most effectively used as part of a balanced fertilization plan that aims to maximize economic return and maintain environmental quality. This describes the specific benefits of nitrogen fertilization a ...

Molecular Modelling Scientific Journals

Downs Syndrome Online Journals

Research of Down syndrome-related genes is placed on studying the genes located on chromosome 21. In general, this leads to an overexpression of the genes. Understanding the genes involved may help to target medical treatment to individuals with D ...

Gene Journals

The protease inhibitors (PIs) in plants are involved primarily in defense against pathogens and pests and in response to abiotic stresses. However, information about the PI gene families in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum), one of the most important ...

Downs Syndrome Open Access Articles

Down syndrome is a genetic disorder occurs when part of chromosome 21 gets attached to another chromosome during the formation of reproductive cells. This results in trisomy of 21 meaning each cell in body has 3 copies of chromosome 21. This addit ...

Gene Peer-review Journals

Genes are so embedded in our intellectual DNA (to repatriate a fashionable idiom) that we tend to forget that we still have no agreed definition of the term. When we say that there are fewer than 25,000 genes in the human genome , we are thinking ...

Obesity Research Articles

Obesity is most commonly caused by a combination of excessive food energy intake, lack of physical activity, and genetic susceptibility, although a few cases are caused primarily by genes, endocrine disorders, medications, or psychiatric. Evidence ...

Gene Scholarly Peer-review Journal

Genes have been in the scientific vocabulary for a hundred years. The term "gene" was proposed by the Danish plant scientist Wilhelm Johannsen in the first decade of the 20th century. For Johannsen, the gene remained an abstract concept, ...

Gene Impact Factor

In biology, a gene is a sequence of nucleotides in DNA or RNA that encodes the synthesis of a gene product, either RNA or protein. During gene expression, the DNA is first copied into RNA. The RNA can be directly functional or be the intermediate ...

Molecular Modelling Scholarly Journals

Molecular modeling Scholarly journals are peer-reviewed journals, in which scholarship relating to a particular academic discipline is published. Scholarly journals serve as forums for the introduction and presentation f ...

Downs Syndrome Innovations

Down syndrome is a chromosomal disorder caused by an error in cell division that results in the presence of an additional copy of chromosome 21 (trisomy 21) or additional chromosomal 21 material. Named after John Langdon Down, the first physician ...
