Global Scientific Fields in Genetics & Molecular Biology

Genetics deals with the gross structure, organization, replication, recombination, functional regulation and transmission of heritable information in the biological organisms and also includes studies on the environmental factors affecting the genetic composition and evolution of biological organisms. Studies in genetics range from basic molecular genetics to large scale genomics at organism level. Molecular biology focuses on immunology, microbiology, genetics and cellular and sub-cellular biology. Studies on deciphering the structure and function of genetic materials, proteins and other metabolically active biochemical entities forms the fundamentals of genetic & molecular biology which find immense relevance in effective and accurate treatment of disease, increased crop production to meet the demands. Genetic engineering is the latest evolutionary product of the field which focuses on construction of genetically modified organisms.

Neural Stem Cells Journals

Neural stem cells (NSCs) are self-renewing, multipotent cells that firstly generate the radial glial progenitor cells that generate the neurons and glia of the nervous system of all animals during embryonic development. The ...

Hematopoietic Stem Cells Open Access Journals

Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are the stem cells that give rise to other blood cells. This process is called haematopoiesis. This process occurs in the red bone marrow, in the core of most bones.HSC ...

Turner Syndrome

Turner syndrome, a condition that affects only females, results when one of the X chromosomes (sex chromosomes) is missing or partially missing. Turner syndrome can cause a variety of medical and developmental problems, including short h ...

Phylogenetic-characterization

A total of 247 clones of 16S rRNA genes from microorganisms captured by 0.2- and 0.1-μm-pore-size filters from sedimentary and granite rock aquifers were amplified and yielded 37 operational taxonomic units (OTUs). Fi ...

Microbial Metagenomics Top Journals

Metagenomics applies the knowledge that all creatures contain nucleic acids; therefore, organisms do not have to be cultured, but can be identified by a particular gene sequence, or its derived protein, or even meta ...

Microbial Metagenomics Peer Reviewed Journals

Metagenomics can also help in understanding microbial competition and communication. This research may have far-reaching applications to all environments, whether they are within the digestive tract of humans or in the d ...

New Generation Of Molecular Docking

Molecular docking has become an increasingly important tool for drug discovery. In this review, we present a brief introduction of the available molecular docking methods, and their development and ap ...

Genome Engineeeing Open Access Journals

Genome engineering technologies based on synthetic nucleases and transcription factors enable the targeted modification of the sequence and expression of genes. These engineered nucleases and transcription factors typically consist of a DNA-bindin ...

Bacterial Artificial Chromosome High Impact Factor Journals

A bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) is an engineered DNA molecule used to clone DNA sequences in bacterial cells (for example, E. coli). BACs are often used in connection with DNA sequencing. Segments of an organism& ...

Genetic Markers

A genetic marker is a DNA sequence with a known physical location on a chromosome. Genetic markers can help link an inherited disease with the responsible gene. DNA segments close to each other on a chromosome tend to be ...

Fungal Infections Diseases Review Articles

The classic symptoms of a yeast infection make them easy to diagnose. Doctors may ask about the person’s medical history, such as any previous yeast infections or sexually transmitted infections (STIs). They m ...

Fungal Infections Diseases Peer Review Journals

Not all itchy feet are the result athlete’s foot. Doctors usually diagnose the infection by scraping scaling skin off of a person and inspecting it under a microscope for evidence of any fungus. There are a few diff ...

Fungal Infections Diseases Open Access Journals

Fungi can live in the air, soil, water, and plants. There are also some fungi that live naturally in the human body. Like many microbes; there are helpful fungi and harmful fungi. When harmful fungi invade the body, they ...

Fungal Infections Diseases Online Journals
