Global Scientific Fields in Genetics & Molecular Biology

Genetics deals with the gross structure, organization, replication, recombination, functional regulation and transmission of heritable information in the biological organisms and also includes studies on the environmental factors affecting the genetic composition and evolution of biological organisms. Studies in genetics range from basic molecular genetics to large scale genomics at organism level. Molecular biology focuses on immunology, microbiology, genetics and cellular and sub-cellular biology. Studies on deciphering the structure and function of genetic materials, proteins and other metabolically active biochemical entities forms the fundamentals of genetic & molecular biology which find immense relevance in effective and accurate treatment of disease, increased crop production to meet the demands. Genetic engineering is the latest evolutionary product of the field which focuses on construction of genetically modified organisms.

Fibromyalgia Genetics Syndrome Impact Factor

Fibromyalgia isn't passed directly from parents to children the way diseases such as cystic fibrosis and hemophilia are. But family studies have found that the odds of having fibromyalgia are several times higher in ...

Genetic Modification Top Open Access Journals

Genetic modification is a technique to change the characteristics of a plant, animal or micro-organism by transferring a piece of DNA from one organism to a different organism. This is done through targeted removal of the desired genes&n ...

Eukaryotic Inhibitors

Eukaryotic initiation factors (eIFs) are proteins involved in the initiation phase of eukaryotic translation. These proteins help stabilize the formation of the functional ribosome around the start codon and also provide regulatory mechanisms in t ...

Recombinant Chitinase

Studies indicate that a microfilarial stage-specific chitinase is a possible candidate antigen for a transmission-blocking vaccine against Brugian filariasis. The antigen is a functional enzyme that progressively appears as microfilariae mature an ...

Phytophthora Cinnamomi

Phytophthora cinnamomi is an oomycete that occurs world-wide. The fungus-like organism causes severe root rot and dieback on Fraser firs, shortleaf and loblolly pines, azaleas, camellia, boxwood, and many other trees and woody ornamentals (5) ...

Aspergillus Flavus

Aspergillus flavus is an opportunistic pathogen of crops. It is important because it produces aflatoxin as a secondary metabolite in the seeds of a number of crops both before and after harvest. Aflatoxin is a potent carcinogen that is highly regu ...

Bioprocessing-online-journals

Diary of Bio-Technology and Research (JBTR) gives a medium to the quick distribution of both full-length articles and short correspondences on novel and creative parts of biotechnology. The Journal will acknowledge papers going from hereditary or ...

Fibromyalgia Genetics Syndrome Scholarly Peer-review Journal

Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a common chronic widespread pain syndrome mainly affecting women. Although the etiology of FMS is not completely understood, varieties of neuroendocrine disturbances, as well as abnormalities of autonomic function, h ...

Cell Cycle Impact Factor

Cell cycle or the division of cell leading to its duplication producing 2 daughter cells. During the development from stem cell to fully differentiated cells, cells in the body alternately divide (mitosis) and "appear" to be restin ...
