Global Scientific Fields in Genetics & Molecular Biology

Genetics deals with the gross structure, organization, replication, recombination, functional regulation and transmission of heritable information in the biological organisms and also includes studies on the environmental factors affecting the genetic composition and evolution of biological organisms. Studies in genetics range from basic molecular genetics to large scale genomics at organism level. Molecular biology focuses on immunology, microbiology, genetics and cellular and sub-cellular biology. Studies on deciphering the structure and function of genetic materials, proteins and other metabolically active biochemical entities forms the fundamentals of genetic & molecular biology which find immense relevance in effective and accurate treatment of disease, increased crop production to meet the demands. Genetic engineering is the latest evolutionary product of the field which focuses on construction of genetically modified organisms.

Cell Nucleus Open Access Journals

The nucleus is a highly specialized organelle that serves as the information processing and administrative center of the cell. This organelle has two major functions: it stores the cell's hereditary material, or DNA, ...

Cell Separation Scientific Journals

The separation of one or more cell types from other cells is a critical step in biological research and clinical testing. By conducting experiments on an isolated population of cells, scientists can perform a variety of downstream applications, an ...

Genometyping Top Journals

Genome typing is defined as the process of evaluating the differences in the genetic make-up of an individual by examining the individual's DNA sequence using biological assays ...

Stem Cells Journals

Stem cells provide new cells for the body as it grows, and replace specialised cells that are damaged or lost. They have two unique properties that enable them to do this: They can divide over and over again to produce new cell ...

Cell Nucleus Innovations

The nucleus is an organelle found in eukaryotic cells. Inside its fully enclosed nuclear membrane, it contains the majority of the cell's genetic material. This material is organized as DNA molecules, along with a va ...

Stem Cells Peer-review Journals

In multicellular organisms, stem cells are undifferentiated or partially differentiated cells that can differentiate into various types of cells and divide indefinitely to produce more of the ...

Stem Cells Scholarly Peer-review Journal

Stem cells are the body's raw materials — cells from which all other cells with specialized functions are generated. Under the right conditions in the body or a laboratory, stem cells divide to form more cells called daughter cells. These ...

Cell Separation Scholarly Journal

Cell sorting is the process of taking cells from an organism and separating them according to their type. The cells are labelled and tagged to identify areas of interest and their effect. They are separated based on differences in cell size, morph ...
