Global Scientific Fields in Biochemistry

Biochemistry deals with the structures, functions and interactions of biological macromolecules, such as proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates and lipids, which provide the structure of cells and perform many of the functions associated with life. There is chemistry within the human and the animal body without which several important functions of the living organism would not be possible. Right from making the food we consume as pulpable and digestible, the enzymes and the fluids present within the biological system play a crucial role in keeping us healthy. The metabolic process within us breaks the food we consume into pieces to extract the proteins and minerals through the chemical process. More than 90% of the human body possesses chemicals like Oxygen, Hydrogen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus. Biological chemistry regulates every aspect of life. Imbalance in the secretion of hormones would cause chronic diseases like diabetes, Hyper thyroid, depression and a set of neurological disorders including Alzheimer?s and sleeplessness.

Cyclodextrin Glycosyltransferase Scholarly Peer-review Journal

Cyclodextrin glycosyl tranferase or Cyclodextrin glucosyltransferas or Cyclodextrin glucanotransferase or CGTase is a bacterial enzyme belonging to the same family. CGTase is an enzyme common to many bacterial species. All of the CGTases can catal ...

Cyclodextrin Glycosyltransferase Impact Factor

Cyclodextrin glycosyl transferase (CGTase, EC 2.4.1.19) is an important industrial enzyme, unique in its ability to convert starch and related glycans into non-reducing, cyclic malto-oligosacchrarides called cyclodextrins (CDs) via a cyclization r ...

Cyclodextrin Glycosyltransferase Top Open Access Journals

Screening for cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase (CGTase)-producing alkaliphilic bacteria from samples collected from hyper saline soda lakes (Wadi Natrun Valley, Egypt), resulted in isolation of potent CGTase producing alkaliphilic bacterium, terme ...

Primer Journals

To target single gene fragments from multiple organisms within a complex community of known and unknown organisms using PCR has required careful bioinformatics analyses and empirical testing of many primers. Ideal criteria for primers include: (i) ...

Primer Peer-review Journals

DNA extraction and PCR amplification are essential steps in a number of different applications including forensics, sequencing, metagenomic analyses (i.e., study of community profiles) and comparison of ecosystems using their microbial profiles [1 ...

Primer Scholarly Peer-review Journal

Peer review, a cornerstone of academia, promotes rigor and relevance in scientific publishing. As educators are encouraged to adopt a more scholarly approach to medical education, peer review is becoming increasingly important. Junior educators bo ...

Primer Impact Factor

Choosing appropriate primers is probably the single most important factor affecting the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Specific amplification of the intended target requires that primers do not have matches to other targets in certain orientatio ...
