Skin Cancer High Impact Factor Journals

As reported in Skin Cancer Foundation page, Skin cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal skin cells. It occurs when unrepaired DNA damage to skin cells (most often caused by ultraviolet radiation from sunshine or tanning beds) triggers mutations, or genetic defects, that lead the skin cells to multiply rapidly and form malignant tumours. Greater than 90% of cases are caused by exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun. This exposure increases the risk of all three main types of skin cancer like basal cell cancer (BCC), squamous cell cancer (SCC) and melanoma.
