Preventable Diseases

Preventive healthcare, or prophylaxis, consists of measures taken for disease prevention. Disease and disability are affected by environmental factors, genetic predisposition, disease agents, and lifestyle choices and are dynamic processes that begin before individuals realize they are affected. Disease prevention relies on anticipatory actions which will be categorized as primal, primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention. There are many methods for the prevention of disease. One of them is the prevention of teenage smoking through information giving. It is recommended that adults and youngsters aim to go to their doctor for normal check-ups, albeit they feel healthy, to perform disease screening, identify risk factors for disease, discuss tips for a healthy and balanced lifestyle, stay awake so far with immunizations and boosters, and maintain an honest relationship with a healthcare provider.
