Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals. The study of Cytology of the Nervous system is known as Neurocytology. It primarily focusses on the Nervous System tissue, Neurons (Parenchymal Cells), and the Glia (Stromal or Supporting Cells). It helps in analyzing the neuroinfections, by studying the nucleus, dendrites, organelles and the supporting cells normal and abnormal neuron functioning. Abnormal neural communication results in various abnormalities, thus neurocytology provides us a way to study the cause and the therapy for the same.
