Immunology is a branch of biomedical sciences that deals with the study of the physiology, molecular biology and genetics of the immune system and its components during the state of wellbeing as well as illness. It studies and implies the physiological, chemical, physical characteristic features of the system towards comprehending the underlying pathophysiology of diseased conditions and developing suitable treatment practices. Immunological research involves study of the structure and function of Thymus, bone marrow, spleen, tonsil, lymph vessels, lymph nodes, adenoids, skin and liver. Classical Immunology is intricately tied with epidemiology and medicine and helps in the study of the relationship between the body system and pathogens, and the role of immune system in safeguarding the body from such attacks.
Clinical immunology is the study of diseases and disorders that may occur as a result of result of weak immune system including failure, aberrant action, and malignant growth of the cellular elements of the system. It also involves diseases of other systems, where immune reactions play a part in the pathology and clinical features.
Journal of Clinical Immunology Research is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal focused on primary immunodeficiencies and related diseases. These contain inborn errors of immunity, their underlying genotypes and its diverse phenotypes, comprising infection, malignancy, allergy, auto-inflammation, and autoimmunity.
The Journal is keen to publish research articles, review articles, case reports, clinical studies, commentaries, etc. The journal has an Editorial-Board comprising of eminent members from all over the world to explore the advance research in the field of Immunology Research.
