Nutritional medicine is a holistic approach to the interactions of both nutrition and the environment on human health. Nutrients are the building blocks of our physical body. When the body is supplied with the correct balance of foods, vitamins and minerals we remain healthy. In medical terms, clinical nutrition is concerned with the therapeutic aspects of nutrition, and its role in strengthening the immune system. Students enrolled to the course are taught to: Develop and evaluate nutritional programs for patients, and establish and develop nutritional protocols and procedures. Nutritional status is a requirement of health of a person convinced by the diet, the levels of nutrients containing in the body and normal metabolic integrity. Normal nutritional status is managed by balance food consumption and normal utilization of nutrients.
