Mineralocorticoids Innovations

A steroid hormone is a steroid that acts as a hormone. Steroid hormones are classified into five groups by the receptors to which they bind: glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids, androgens, estrogens, and progestogens. These hormones were involved in retention of a mineral i.e., sodium, hence the name mineralocorticoids. The effect of mineralocorticoids is mediated by nuclear receptors as well as fast non-genomic mechanisms and signalling cascades. Aldosterone is the primary endogenous mineralocorticoids that are secreted by the adrenal glands. The other endogenous hormones with mineralocorticoid function are progesterone and deoxycorticosterone. Aldosterone increases the renal tubular reabsorption of sodium and secretion of potassium. The deficiency of mineralocorticoids causes severe renal sodium chloride wasting and hyperkalaemia. If total adrenocortical secretion is lost it leads to death in 2 days to 3 weeks. The individual can be saved if receives injections of mineralocorticoids or extensive salt therapy. Innovations are new idea, device or process. Innovations are the application of better solutions that meet new requirements, inarticulate needs or existing market needs. It is proficient through more effective products, processes, services, technologies, or new ideas that are readily available to markets, governments and society. Innovations are something original and novel, as a significant, new that breaks into the market or society.
