Cymbopogon, otherwise called lemongrass, spiked metal grass, plush heads, Cochin grass, Malabar grass, sleek heads or fever grass, is a variety of Asian, African, Australian, and tropical island plants in the grass family. Some species (especially Cymbopogon citratus) are generally developed as culinary and restorative herbs in light of their fragrance, looking like that of lemons (Citrus limon).
