According to the FAO, the fishery is an activity leading to the harvesting of fish. It may involve the capture of wild fish or the raising of fish through aquaculture. There are two main types of fisheries: Inland fisheries and marine fisheries. Inland or Fresh Water Fisheries: Inland fishery deals with the fishery aspects of waters other than marine water.
