Electrochemistry

Electrochemistry is the part of physical chemistry that reviews the relationship between electricity, as a quantifiable and quantitative phenomenon, and recognizable chemical change, with either electricity considered a result of a specific chemical change or the other way around. These reactions include electric charges moving among electrodes and an electrolyte. Subsequently, electrochemistry manages the collaboration between electrical energy and chemical change. At the point when a chemical response is caused by externally supplied current, as in electrolysis, or if an electric flow is delivered by a spontaneous substance reaction as in a battery, it is called an electrochemical reaction.
