Climatology is the study of the atmosphere and weather patterns over time. This field of science focuses on recording and analyzing weather patterns throughout the world and understanding the atmospheric conditions that cause them.
Climatology climate science is a scientific study of climate, scientifically defined as a period of time over average weather conditions. The study of this modern field is a branch of the atmospheric sciences and a sub-field of physical geography, which is part of the Earth Sciences. Climatology now includes aspects of oceanography and biogeochemistry.
The main methods used are climatologists to analyze and model the physical laws of the environment. The main research topics are the study of climate variability, the mechanisms of climate change and modern climate change. Basic climate knowledge can be used for short-term weather forecasting, for example on the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) and Arctic Oscillation climate cycles. (AO), the Decennial Pacific Oscillation (AOP) and the Interdecennial Pacific Oscillation (IPO). Climate models are used for a variety of purposes from study of the dynamics of the weather and climate system to projections of future climate. Weather is known as the condition of the atmosphere over a period of time, while climate has to do with the atmospheric condition over an extended to indefinite period of time
