Chromatin

Chromatin

Chromatin may be a substance within a chromosome consisting of DNA and protein. The DNA carries the cell's genetic instructions. the main proteins in chromatin are histones, which help package the DNA during a compact form that matches within the nucleus . Chromatin may be a mass of genetic material composed of DNA and proteins that condense to make chromosomes during eukaryotic cellular division . Chromatin is found within the nucleus of our cells. The function of chromatin is to efficiently package DNA into alittle volume to suit into the nucleus of a cell and protect the DNA structure and sequence. Packaging DNA into chromatin allows for mitosis and meiosis, prevents chromosome breakage and controls organic phenomenon and DNA replication.
