Cervical dislocation is a common method of animal euthanasia. It refers to a technique used in physical euthanasia of small animals by applying pressure to the neck and dislocating the spinal column from the skull or brain.
The technique in which pressure is applied to the neck which results in dislocation of the spinal column from brain/skull. It is a very painless and quick procedure. This technique has some limitations also, as this technique can only be performed on animals.
