The point where the total sum of a pressure field acts in a body is called Center of pressure. A force acts through that point that causes no moment about that point. The value of the integrated vectorial pressure field tells about the total force vector acting at the center of pressure. The resultant force and center of pressure location produce equivalent force and moment on the body as the original pressure field. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
