Cell physiology is that the biological study of the activities that happen during a cell to stay it alive. The term physiology refers to normal functions during a living organism. Animal cells, plant cells and microorganism cells show similarities in their functions albeit they vary in structure. Prokaryotes were the primary of the 2 to develop and don't have a self-contained nucleus. Their mechanisms are simpler than later-evolved eukaryotes, which contain a nucleus that envelops the cell's DNA and a few organelles. There are alternative ways through which cells can transport substances across the cell wall. the 2 main pathways are transport and transport. transport is more direct and doesn't require the utilization of the cell's energy. It relies on a neighborhood that maintains a high-to-low concentration gradient. transport uses ATP (ATP) to move a substance that moves against its concentration gradient.
