Biosafety

Biosafety

Biosafety is the prevention of loss of biological integrity on a large-scale, focusing both on ecology and human health. It is used to protect from harmful incidents. The prevention mechanisms include regular reviews of the safety guidelines and Biosafety in laboratory settings. The laboratories handling biological hazards use a simultaneous risk management assessment and enforcement process for Biosafety. Failures to follow such protocols can lead to increased risk of exposure to biohazards or pathogens.
