Animal Nutrition And Welfare

Animal nutrition focuses on the dietary nutrients needs of animals, primarily those in agriculture and food production, but also in zoo's, aquariums, and wildlife management. There are seven major classes of nutrients: carbohydrates, fats, fibre, minerals, proteins, vitamins, and water.

Animal nutrition welfare focuses on meeting nutritional requirements like carbohydrates, fatty acids, minerals and vitamins to correct deficiencies in basic diet & livestock in maintaining acceptable performance of neonatal, growing, finishing and breeding animals.
