Anemia is the most common blood condition where blood lacks enough healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin to carry adequate oxygen to the tissues. Hemoglobin of the red blood cells binds oxygen. Anemic person make to feel the person exhausted due to abnormalities in the red blood cells or due to low hemoglobin the cells in the body will not get enough oxygen. Women prone to chronic diseases are at increased risk of anemia. Each with its own reason there are many types of anemia that includes Iron deficiency anemia, Thalassemia, Aplastic anemia, Hemolytic anemia, Sickle cell anemia, Pernicious anemia and Fanconi anemia. Diagnosis of the anemia can be by two major approaches: kinetic approach which evaluates production, destruction and loss of RBC as well morphologic approach is by red blood cell size. Peer review refers to the work done during the screening of submitted manuscripts and funding applications. This process encourages authors to meet the accepted standards of their discipline and reduces the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations, and personal views. Publications that have not undergone peer review are likely to be regarded with suspicion by academic scholars and professionals. Journal of Anemia is a peer-reviewed journal available in print and online. This journal has an editorial board comprising of experts from India and other parts of the world. The aim of the journal remains to publish all information related to Anemia.
