Yeshiva University is a research university established in 1886 with four campuses in New York City, with its main campus located in Wilf campus, Washington Heights. Yeshiva University is chartered by New York State and is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Yeshiva University alumni consist of Nobel laureates, rabbinic leaders, world political leaders, business giants and philanthropists. Alumni have made significant contributions to society both nationally and internationally. Yeshiva University Museum conducts innovative exhibitions and programs on Jewish art and culture in a historical and contemporary context. The Museum was found in the year 1973. Michael Scharf Publication Trust of Yeshiva University Press publishes academic studies, works by their faculty and alumni as well as other professors both in North America and Israel. Students who wants to begin their career in Yeshiva University education in Israel, there is a formal arrangement called Joint Israel Program between Yeshiva University and yeshivot and seminaries in Israel.
