University of San Andres is a private university established in 1988. It is located in the town of Victoria, Buenos Aires on the shores of the Rio de la Plata, in the metropolitan area of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. The rector of the University is Roberto Bouzas. It has agreement with more than eighty universities all over the world. It has one of the largest private libraries in the country, Max Von Buch. It maintains over 70,000 volumes. The library was recognized by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation though their Program for Latin American Libraries and Archives. San Andrés is the first institution in Argentina to offer a double degree accredited by Grandes Ecoles ESCP-Europe. The MBA programs taught by the university are accredited by the London-based Association of MBAs (AMBA).

University of San Andrés has five ninety academics out of which seventy six are full time researchers divided into seven departments.
It has full time researchers working under seven departments like Department of Administration, Department of Social Sciences, Department of Law, Department of Economics, Department of Humanities, Department of Mathematics and Sciences, School of Education. University seek to achieve a real improvement of the practices, processes, and results of educational institutions. It generates knowledge through research with the objective of contributing to the development of a new paradigm of design and implementation of interventions and public policies in evidence-based
education for decision-making.
