University of Jamestown, is in Jamestown, North Dakota, United States, founded by the Presbyterian Church, is a private liberal arts college. University of Jamestown was known as Jamestown College until August 2013. In 2014, the University of Jamestown ranks 37th in the region and was named as best college in the state by Niche. University of Jamestown is best known for its athletics, its academic success and its choir. A financial endowment of $36.1 million has been done by university in 2014.

Athletic teams of the University of Jamestown are part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) since 2013-14 and nicknamed athletically as the Jimmies. Jimmies won early conference championships in football, womens volleyball, mens and womens basketball, and mens and womens golf since joined the NSAA.
