The University of East London (UEL) is a state funded college in the London Borough of Newham, east London, England, based at three campuses in Stratford and Docklands, after the opening of University Square Stratford in September 2013. The college can follow its attaches back to 1892, picking up college status in 1992. It has more than 28,000 students from 120 nations. University of East London has three facilities, at Stratford and Docklands, the newest of which, University Square Stratford, opened in September 2013. The Barking yard was shut in 2006. University of East London conveys projects and short courses at the Barking Learning Center.
