Turku School of
Economics was founded in 1950 by the initiative of the local
business life and this close cooperation with the
business world goes on today. Our strong research efforts and research-based teaching are both close to
business practices. The research and degree level
education are organised by the Departments of
Management and Entrepreuneurship,
Accounting and Finance,
Marketing and International Business, Economics, and within the subjects of each department, as well as TSEs Pori Unit. The Finland Futures Research Centre is a multidisciplinary academic research, training, and development organisation, TSE exe runs executive MBA and customised training programmes for private and public organisations and the Centre for Collaborative Research (CCR) is developing our research by acting as a link between researchers, industry and society. The School is located in the campus area of the University of Turku. It also has a unit in the city of Pori.

Management Development) Acts as a catalyst to enchance excellence in
management education and development globally. Its a forum for information, research, networking and debate on innovation and best practice in
management development and offers accreditation services for
business schools. Our eMBA -programme is EPAS -accredited by EFMD. European Institute for Advanced Studies in
Management (EIASM) The mission of EIASM is to raise the profile of European
Management Research with respect to other established scientific disciplines as well as the
business world. In order to fulfil its mission it develops networks, organises conferences, seminars and workshops and doctoral seminars to the European
management scholars. ERCIS (European Research Center for Information Systems) The ERCIS - European Research Center for Information Systems - is an international network of scientists, conducting cooperative research in the field of Information Systems. European Council for Small
Business and
Entrepreneurship (ECSB) The main objective is to advance the understanding of
entrepreneurship and to improve the competitiveness of SMEs in Europe. ENSR (European Network for Social and Economic Research) ENSR is a network of organisations specialised in applied policy research with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and entrepreneurship. GEM (Global
Entrepreneurship Monitor) GEM explores the role of
entrepreneurship in national economic growth, unveiling detailed national features and characteristics associated with entrepreneurial activity. The data collected is ‘harmonized’ by a central team of experts, guaranteeing its quality and facilitating cross-national comparisons. GRLI (Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative) The Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative is about creating individual and collective leadership and practice that is globally responsible. As a peer-based organization, GRLI prioritizes collaboration and co-creation through networking, joint research, impact projects and collective advocacy initiatives. Initiatives are conceived, designed and implemented by committed individuals based within the GRLI Community consisting of partner organizations, institutional members and our network of independent associates. Management Education The mission of the PRME initiative is to inspire and champion responsible
management education, research and thought leadership globally. The participants sign the Six Principles as a guiding framework to integrate corporate responsibility and sustainability in a gradual but systemic manner in their development. SCANCOR (Scandinavian Consortium For Organizational research) The Scandinavian Consortium for Organizational Research facilitates inquiry in organizational
social science among a transnational network of scholars. Its member institutions in Scandinavia and greater Europe support working visits and residencies at Stanford University. SCANCOR also sponsors conferences, workshops, and mentoring opportunities worldwide. IMMIT (International Master in
Management of IT) The IMMIT program is a multiple degree program jointly offered by IAE Aix Graduate School of Management, Aix Marseille Université (France), Turku University (Finland) and Tilburg University (The Netherlands).
