Staffordshire University

Staffordshire University is a university in Staffordshire, England. One of the main campus is based in the city of Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford, Lichfield and Shrewsbury has other three campuses.

The industrialist Alfred Bolton bought a 2-acre site, in 1901. Staffordshire University has a history of 100 years education. The university was granted with status in 1992. In 2016, all computing and entertainment technology departments were moved to stoke from Stafford. During the year 2014-2015, total 17,735 students were enrolled, out of which 83 % were undergraduate and Male – Female gender were equal [50% each].

The university’s UK partners, which include the National Design Academy and local colleges, are responsible for delivering a wide range of Staffordshire University higher education awards to a further 4,600 students. Staffordshire University works hard to meet the demands of public and private sector employers.

The Staffordshire Graduate Project aims to ensure consistency across the portfolio and that all those completing their awards are work ready and employable. 78% of Staffordshire research is assessed as world leading / international. The faculties here includes: Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Business, Law and Education, Faculty of Health Sciences. There is flexibility and student centric approach.
