Sadat Academy for
Management sciences (SAMS) is a governmental university in Egypt, specialized in
management sciences. SAMS was founded in Egypt in 1981. Its headquarters in Maadi. SAMS’s mission is to enhance the profession of
management by advancing the study of
management and enriching the professional development of its students and clients. It is also committed to shaping the future of managerial research and development. SAMS is mainly engaged in education, consultancy, training, and research.
Through the Faculty of
Management Sciences, SAMS offers two educational programs: undergraduate and graduate degrees in
management sciences. Sadat Academy for
Management Sciences is accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities Decrees No. 3 of 1986 and No. 110 of 2006. New specializations have been recently introduced like Finance, Investment, Marketing, Human Resources, E-Commerce, Banking,
Management of Information System (MIS), Petroleum & Energy Corporations Management,
Tourism and Hotels Management,
Economics and Accounting.
Sadat Academy for
Management sciences is dated back to 1954 when the
Public Administration Institute (PAI) had been established, followed by the National Institute for
Management Development (NIMD) in 1961 and the Local
Administration Institute in 1967. In 1971, the three institutes were merged into the National Institute for
Management Development (NIMD).
