Stem Cell Biology and Technology is established in the year 1991 by Dr. Saeid Kazemi Ashtiani as a research institute for Reproductive
Biomedicine and
infertility treatments. The Royan Institute for
Stem Cell Biology and Technology is known for its
Stem Cell research and
infertility treatment. It has a team of 46 scientific members and 186 lab technicians working for three institutes of research namely:
1) Royan Institute for
Stem Cell Biology and Technology (RI-SCBT) 2) Royan Institute for Reproductive
Biomedicine (RI-RB) 3) Royan Institute for Animal
Biotechnology (RI-AB)
