Cancer Institute is founded in 1898 in USA. This is the first and oldest
cancer research center in America. Dr. Roswell Park is the founder of the Roswell Park
Cancer Institute. The university is working with best scientists and clinicians to maintain the standards by which all modern day comprehensive

Cancer Institute is the only upstate New York facility to hold the National
Cancer Institute Designation of “Comprehensive
Cancer center”.

Cancer Institute University got the prestigious Nobel prize for the Drs. Carl and Gerty Cori to the first scientific observations implicating immunological reactions with
malignancy in 1947.
Previously it is named as State Pathological Laboratory of the University at Buffalo, and then it is changed to State Institute for the Study of Malignant Diseases. Finally this also changed to Roswell Park Memorial Institute. Roswell Park Memorial Institute has specialized for all types of
cancer treatments.
