Poznan University is located in Poland which has become one of the leading technical universities in the country. It is established in 1919 which was started initially as School of Mechanical Engineering.
There are ten faculties available in the University – Architecture, Chemical Technology, Civil and Environmental Engineering,
Computing and Information Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Engineering Management, Machines and Transportation, Mechanical Engineering and Management, Technical Physics. It has thousand lectures and teachers and over 21,000 students.
Some of the students of the university have become world champions in computer systems organized by IEEE Computer Society and Imagine Cup (Microsoft). The university is the first one to become a member of the Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering
Education and Research (CESAER), an organization comprising the best technical universities in Europe.
