The Otto-Selz-Institute (OSI) is a cross-faculty interdisciplinary research institute at the University of Mannheim. It conducts basic and application-oriented research projects of the applied
psychology and cooperates closely with other research institutions and organizations of the
health care system. The OSI runs a psychotherapeutic college and a training ambulance. In cooperation with the Zentralinstitut für Seelische Gesundheit, Mannheim, the training is offered as a psychological psychotherapist (behavioral therapy) at the ZPP Mannheim. In addition, the institute provides teaching in the fields of
psychology and economic education, as well as in the postgraduate
education and supervision of psychological psychotherapists. Infomaterials can be found here. Another task of the OSI is the processing and maintenance of the estate of Otto Selz. The OSI works and researches in close collaboration with the Chair of Clinical and Biological
Psychology and
