National Research institute for Rural Engineering Water and Forestry was started in the year 1996. Its formation was in assembling with the institutes like INRF and CRGR, it gains financial support from IRESA. This institute was started with a mission to provide its research results to the areas of forest, water and Rural Technology. It mainly focuses on the development of national research policy in the areas of Water, Forests and Rural Engineering and it also organises, implements in these fields. It mainly focuses on protection, conservation and rationalisation of the exploitation of natural resources and rural areas, to develop its research and to know its scientific applications participate in the development of scientific and technological research and its integration into the economic and social fields provides training to the doctoral students in the institute programs. It has work stations all over the world.
