Nara Womens's University

Nara Women’s University provides students with a relaxed at home environment. The relatively small size of our university means that students and professors alike are able to get to know each other on a personal level and support is readily at hand when needed. On top of this Nara Women’s University offers all the facilities of a modern university only minutes away from Nara Station and yet surrounded in the picturesque tranquility of Nara’s cultural heritage. It is even common to see deer wondering through the university grounds. Located at the Eastern most tip of the Silk Road, Nara has a long history of cultural exchange with Asia and the rest of the world. As a result of this history students are able to relax after a hard days study by taking a walk through the nearby Nara Park or even visiting one of Nara’s many World Heritage sites such as Todaiji Temple or Kasugataisha Shrine.
