Myongji University was founded in the year 1948 and is located in South Korea. It offers higher
education in the fields of engineering, sciences and humanities. Myongji University has two campuses: one is in Namgajwa-dong, Seodaemun-gu in downtown Seoul and the other in Yongin, 35 km south of Seoul.
Myongji University consists of 6 colleges, encompassing 34 departments and divisions, a graduate school, and 8 specialized postgraduate programs. The symbol of the university depicts two different things, the leaflet tree focuses on faith in Christianity, while the white stallion symbolizes loyalty, courage, obedience, and purity.
