Life Chiropractic College West was founded in 1976 as Pacific States Chiropractic College. Life Chiropractic College West is a school offering a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, located in Hayward, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. The College provides solid academic and clinical experience, featuring an integrated emphasis on chiropractic philosophy and technique. There are currently 478 post graduate students working towards their Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life West. Dr. Gerry Clum served as the President of Life Chiropractic College West until his retirement in December 2010. In 2010, the Board of Regents appointed Dr. Brian Kelly as the second President of Life West. Dr. Kelly took up the role in January 2011 after spending the previous six years as the president of New Zealand College of Chiropractic.
