Institute for Environmental research and Sustainable (IERSD) mission is to promote environmental science and engineering. This institute is one of the five institutes that comprise the National Observatory of Athens (NOA). They conduct high quality scientific research in various areas related to weather, laboratory services,
environmental monitoring, climate change assessments and many more. It has many publications in the international journal too. IERSD conducts research on the recent work like Evaluation of monitoring plans under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme for the period 2013 – 2020 which can be helpful to the community. This institute has two laboratories which are Atmospheric Chemistry laboratory and Laboratory of Meteorological Device Calibration.
