The Indian Institute of Science
Education and Research ( IISER ) is a research and autonomous
education institute in Bhopal. The Indian Institute of Science
Education and Research was established by Ministry of Human Resource Development by Govt. of India in 2008. It was established in order to incorporate research in basic science at undergraduate and graduate level, with equal emphasis on higher
education for research and
education in science. The Indian Institute of Science

Education and Research ( IISER ) has departments like Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Earth and Environmental Science, Engineering Sciences and Academics like
Bachelor of Science- The Programme offers Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, physics, chemistry, Environmental Science, Master of Science
Integrated Phd program- It offers programme in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Doctoral program- Admission to the doctoral program is given only after a Masters degree in science.
Post doctoral studies- It includes Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry,
Biology and Earth Sciences. In 2006 Indian Institute of Science
Education and Research was created through a proclamation of Ministry of Human Resource Development by Govt. of India which is under the category of institutes which are under national importance to promote quality
education and research in basic sciences. After the announcement, 2 of these institutes which were located at Pune and Kolkata were started in 2006 respectively.
The Institute is a degree granting autonomous institution with a prime focus to integrate science
education and research. Some of the

Some of the team members are Mr. Mahesh Singh Chauhan- Dean, R & D, Mr. Mahesh Singh Chauhan- Superintendent, Mr. Chirag Lalwani- Project Office Associate, Mr. Shubham Singh- Jr. Assistant. Some of the projects done by the institute are Ramanujan Conclave/review meeting.
