The IBCN institute commonly referred to as Cellular and
Neurobiology Institute is situated in Italy. It was established on December 21, 2010 by the merger of three research institutes namely Institute of
Neurobiology and Molecular Medicine, Cell
Biology Institute and
Neuroscience Institute of Rome in order to carry out advanced and innovative scientific researches among the inter disciplinary fields of sciences. These research institutes were merged to carry research works within the CNR Life Science Department. There are various topics on which researches are carried out presently. They are Human Genetics, Plant Genetics, Genetic Engineering, Genotype-phenotype correlations, animal modeling, Cell and molecular Biology, etc. The headquarters of IBCN is situated at A.Buzzati-Traverso, International Campus, 32 - 00015 Monterotondo Scalo, Rome, Italy.
