The Hanken School of
Economics is a
business school located in Helsinki and Vaasa. Hanken was established in 1909 and is the only stand-alone
business school in Finland. Hanken offers master's, doctoral, and MBA programmes in English, as well as bachelor’s and master’s programmes in Swedish. The Financial Times has ranked Hanken’s Masters in
Management programme no. 67 and 69 in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Hanken is also ranked fifth for its research and research linkages by U-Multirank, a feasibility study supported by the European Commission. Hanken is one of the 76
business schools to hold the so-called Triple accreditation, i.e. the school has been accredited by AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. Hanken has two campuses, one in Helsinki and one in Vaasa. Hanken has over 13,700 alumni in 70 countries.
