Marcony University takes its name from the Italian inventor Guglielmo Marconi (25 April 1874 – 20 July 1937). Guglielmo Marconi was born in Bologna, Italy, on April 25, 1874 and was educated privately in Bologna, Florence and Leghorn. The University was recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research in 2004. Marconi’s mission is to provide innovative and affordable high-quality degree programs and learning opportunities to both domestic and international students alike, utilizing the latest technologies and responding to students’ needs in their pursuit of academic, personal, and professional integrity.
