Celal Bayar University or (CBU) is a state university located in Manisa, Turkey. It was first established in 1975 with 3 different two-year degree offering small colleges. Celal Bayar University has started its
education in 1992. University is proud to carry the name Celal Bayar, who is the third president of Turkey.
The Celal Bayar University supports world educational programmes, promotes mobility, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue. The university is involved in the Bologna process and develops the European format of higher education. With its academic departments, lecturers, physical capacity and with its cultural and sports opportunities, Celal Bayar University is an academic institution of high quality. There are 10 faculties, 5 collages, 15 vocational schools, 3 institutions, 16 research and application centers and a hospital. Celal Bayar University has also a positive effect in the development of Manisa and its districts with its campuses in Uncubozköy, Muradiye, Demirci and with its vocational schools in nearly all of its towns. More than a thousand of lecturers, having both national and international experience, have been working at Celal Bayar University.
