The University is a public university established in the year 1865 in the capital city of Wales. It has undergone many changes before emerging as Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2011. It has three campuses located in different parts of Cardiff city: Llandaff , Cyncoed, and Howard Gardens. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in variety of disciplines with full time or part time option to 12,000 national and international students. The university is composed of five schools: Cardiff School of Art & Design, Cardiff School of Education, Cardiff School of
Health Science, Cardiff School of Management, and Cardiff School of Sport. The University’s alumni have received notable acclaims in the areas of arts, sports, media, and business. Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) results in 2008 recognized the University for its Success in supporting development of research.
