The American University of Health Sciences (AUHS) was established in 1994 by Kim Dang and Pastor Gregory Johnson, COO. AUHS is a private, for profit, postsecondary education institute created to provide excellence in education for students who interested in a career in healthcare. Students can obtain healthcare degrees in the school of nursing, school of pharmacy or clinical research professions. In 2003, the American University of Health Sciences was established as a corporation and achieved Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) accreditation. AUHS is minority owned and places emphasis on the development of quality allied experts for the neighborhood and worldwide community. From the establishment of Training and health services degrees, AUHS graduates are empowered to give the care and services in the healthcare services to the world. The objective of the University is to prepare professional and culturally diverse resources for the pharmaceutical, nursing and clinical research sectors within healthcare.
