The American Academy of
Dermatology is the largest and most influential
dermatology groups in United States. It was founded in the year 1938. It has membership of more than 17,000.
It is one of the largest organizations of dermatologists in the world. American Academy of
Dermatology grants Fellowships and Associate Memberships, as well as Fellowships for Nonresidents of the USA or Canada. American Academy of
Dermatology publishes a monthly medical journal, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
To become a Fellow of the American Academy of
Dermatology (FAAD), a physician must be a resident of the United States of America or Canada and must be certified by the American Board of
Dermatology or in
dermatology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
