Abasaheb Garware College, is located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It got its name from a pioneering industrialist Abasaheb Garware and is the only Science and Arts College of the Maharashtra
Education Society. It has been awarded as the best college by University of Pune, India.
The college was established in the year 1945 and today it has twenty-five Departments in the field of arts and Science. The college offers more than 30 different academic programmes, including self-financed and autonomous courses, providing
education for around 5000 students. It primarily imparts
education in languages and social sciences, and a few subjects in science.
