"Dr Wei Bi is a research fellow working in the Crabb lab in the School of Health Sciences, City University London. Wei joined City University London in 2006. Wei gained degrees in Computer Sciences at Oxford and Harbin (HIT, China) before completing a PhD in Visual Science in 2012. Wei worked as a research assistant at City before joining the Crabb Lab in December 2014. He has taught in the undergraduate Optics Labs for the past six years and, while studying at Oxford, Wei worked as a college IT assistant, helping to maintain the college network and students’ computers. During his PhD studies, Wei attended and presented his work at more than 10 international conferences and obtained several awards such as the Palmer Award from the Colour Group (GB). His research interests include the simulation of vision loss, designing tests for age-related eye disease, visual field, mesopic photometry, colour vision mechanisms, blindsight, pupillometry, melanopsin, flicker and aging."
