Biography

He holds a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (1989), a Master's Degree in Parasitary Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1994), a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1996), and a postdoctoral degree from Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School (2001-2005). Develops projects in the field of cellular immunology, with emphasis on the development and migration of T lymphocytes.
