Tania Cremonini de Araújo-Jorge holds a degree in Medicine from UFRJ (1980) and a Principal Researcher in Public Health at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation since 1983. She completed her Masters and PhD in Biophysics from UFRJ and did post-doctorate in 1989-90 in Belgium (ULB) and France (Inserm). He works in the areas of innovations in neglected diseases, applied pharmacology and science education, focusing on creativity and artscience. She was Director of the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC) from 2005 to 2013 (elected and re-elected, first woman in 105 years), with several innovative initiatives in participatory management. She is currently coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Teaching at CAPES and a member of her Scientific Technical Council for Higher Education. At Fiocruz he is head of the Laboratory of Innovations in Therapeutics, Education and Bioproducts of the IOC. He has published more than a hundred articles in specialized journals, organized 4 books, and written more than 20 chapters in published books. He has organized several courses, workshops and teaching programs and has registered technological products for the protection of copyrights, processes and systematized techniques. Minister since 2000 the discipline "Science and Art" in the IOC, in addition to others in its other areas of competence. She works as a consultant and advisor to WHO / TDR, Ministry of Health / Decit, foreign agencies, CNPq and Research Support Foundations in several Brazilian states. He is a member of the editorial board of scientific journals in Brazil and abroad and a regular reviewer in national and international journals. In his professional activities he participated in several events abroad and in Brazil, and interacted with hundreds of collaborators in co-authoring of scientific works. Integral or shared the training of teachers and scientists registered in dozens of master's theses and doctoral theses, as well as scientific initiation and course completion work. He received honors and awards, highlighting the 2012 Baldacci Award for research on Chagas' disease. He formulated and coordinated the implementation of the Postgraduate Course in Teaching Biosciences and Health, where he is a permanent teacher. He also teaches in PG in Cellular and Molecular Biology and in Tropical Medicine of IOC-Fiocruz and in the Professional Master in Diversity and Inclusion of UFF. It acts in the development of educational materials and social technologies articulating science, art, health and joy.
